Description: Vito Corleone is the aging don (head) of the Corleone Mafia Family. His youngest son Michael has returned from WWII just in time to see the wedding of Connie Corleone (Michael's sister) to Carlo Rizzi. All of Michael's family is involved with the Mafia, but Michael just wants to live a normal life. Drug dealer Virgil Sollozzo is looking for Mafia families to offer him protection in exchange for a profit of the drug money. He approaches Don Corleone about it, but, much against the advice of the Don's lawyer Tom Hagen, the Don is morally against the use of drugs, and turns down the offer. This does not please Sollozzo, who has the Don shot down by some of his hit men. The Don barely survives, which leads his son Michael to begin a violent mob war against Sollozzo and tears the Corleone family apart

The godfather part iii. The godfather where to watch. The godfather. A latecomer to this classic.
An iconic film. 9/10. The godfather epic. There is absolutely nothing wrong I can find in this movie. I've seen it so many times, and it's flawless. Top notch acting, brilliant direction, amazing music, captivating movie has it all.
Let's talk about the actors first. Marlon Brando as Don Vito Corleon and Al Pacino as his son Micheal Corleone pull off the best performances in this movie. That's not to say that the other actors don't deserve recognition; each character is believable and realistic.
I am not going to spoil much of the story; it's fairly simple, but there are a few twists and turns.
The score by Nino Rota is great, and has now become a classic. The main theme is very memorable.
The direction by Francis Ford Coppala is just genius. Each shot is done beautifully. The opening sequence for example, is just great, starting with a close-up of a minor character and slowly zooming out until you see a glimpse of The Godfather. Simply brilliant.
The Godfather is just amazing. If you STILL haven't seen it, rent it, download it, buy it, whatever, just watch it! You won't regret it.

It was the most boring film I've ever forced myself to endure in my entire life! I tried to tell myself it was good to be a part of the hype surrounding it but I just couldn't justify ever telling another soul to watch this movie. The boringness combined with characters that, I for one could not tell the difference between, being so unremarkable led for the biggest snooze fest of a film viewing ever! I don't understand the hype and personally it annoys me that this takes the #2 spot away from other incredible films.
